To Put Out The Fire Of Acid Reflux And Heart Burn

*** Article of the Week: Natural Steps To Put Out The Fire Of Acid Reflux And Heart Burn - By Christine Dreher ***-------------------------------------------------------------
Acid reflux and heart burn symptoms trouble an alarming number of Americans today and are the most common symptoms of GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease). It has been assumed (incorrectly) that acid reflux and heart burn are caused by an over-production of acids in the stomach. One of the most common reasons that heart burn and acid reflux occurs is that the LES (lower esophageal sphincter valve that keeps stomach acids in the stomach) weakens and allows stomach acids to back wash up into the esophagus and throat areas. Over time, this stomach acid backwash can be dangerous if left untreated because the stomach acids can destroy the delicate mucous lining of the esophagus and throat, which can lead to cancer and other serious health issues.
The following information is not meant to replace medical care with your doctor or health care provider. It is intended to enhance or improve your health care treatment program.
What about Acid Blockers or Antacids?
Taking acid blockers (both over-the-counter and prescription) only treats the symptoms, but does not address the underlying cause. Since acid reflux and heart burn are not generally caused by an over-production of acids in the stomach, taking acid blockers prevents or impairs the stomach acids (HCL) from breaking down the food properly. These acids in the stomach protect us from certain bad bacteria in meats and other foods ingested. If there are insufficient acids in the stomach, then this protection is compromised, which can leave us vulnerable to bacterial invasion and food poisoning.
The following suggestions address the triggers that allow the LES (lower esophageal sphincter valve) to weaken or open inappropriately and also address the healing of the stomach lining and delicate esophageal and throat tissues. Also included are several tips for improving your digestion and your overall quality of life.
1. Putting out the Fire
For immediate relief from the burning pain of heart burn or acid reflux, I recommend using pure and natural Capra Mineral Goat Whey powder by Mt. Capra. A couple of tablespoons of powder mixed in a large glass of water can bring immediate relief. It is naturally alkalizing to the body and contains naturally occurring electrolyte minerals that nourish and encourage pH balance in our bodies. There are other natural alkalizing formulas that are very effective as well, including Acid Defense by Garden of Life. The primary ingredient in this formula is the Mineral Goat Whey, plus dried vegetable juices that enhance the alkalizing effect of the whey.
2. Soothing and Healing the Irritated Tissues
Mother Nature has provided several amazing botanicals that help to coat and soothe mucus membranes and reduce inflammation, such as Marshmallow Root, Slippery Elm and Plantain.
I have also learned that the use of DGL (deglycyrrhizinated licorice) before meals can soothe and heal the esophageal tissue.
3. Eating & Dietary Patterns
There are several foods that can trigger acid reflux and heart burn by triggering the LES to open or relax. The most common food triggers include: alcoholic beverages, sparkling or carbonated beverages, caffeine, citrus fruits & juices, chocolate, fried foods, fatty foods, pepper, peppermint, tomato products (including pasta sauce) and for certain people certain spices, including garlic, onion or spicy seasonings. It is best to avoid these foods as much as possible during the healing process.
Eating smaller meals throughout the day is helpful because bigger meals tend to put more pressure on the stomach and LES, which in turn can cause the LES to relax and acids to back up into the esophagus.
Eating meals slower and chewing more thoroughly can aid in digestion and prevent over eating. Eating in a hurry or while upset can affect digestion as well.
Proper food combining can also be helpful. If your symptoms are severe, it could be helpful for a while to eat just one type of food at a time to improve digestion and reduce gas and bloating in the stomach.
4. Digestion Support
Digestive enzymes taken before or with meals can improve digestion and reduce gas and bloating after meals. I found the OmegaZyme Ultra digestive enzyme formula by Garden of Life and the CapraZyme digestive enzyme formula by Mt. Capra to be very helpful with my digestion. Also, I suggest not drinking liquids with meals and up to one half hour before a meal, and not until an hour after a meal because liquids can interfere with the digestive process.
Another way to improve digestion is to use a tincture form of bitter herbs like chamomile, dandelion root or barberry or raw, apple cider vinegar mixed in a little water before meals.
You can also check with your doctor or health care professional to see if you are deficient in HCL (hydrochloric acid). HCL assists with food digestion and supports the function of the LES. If your body is not making enough of its own, then supplementation can be beneficial.
Supporting the digestive system with natural probiotics can also help restore the proper bacterial and pH balance in the G.I. tract.
5. General Mechanics
Wearing loose fitting clothing around the waist can prevent unwanted pressure on the stomach area and the LES and improve the digestion process.
I discovered that by raising the head of my bed six to eight inches reduced my occurrence of acid reflux at night. By keeping the head higher than the stomach, gravity helps to prevent acid reflux during sleeping.
6. Quit Smoking
Smoking can over stimulate the production of stomach acids and can also relax and weaken the LES. Smoking can also inhibit the production of saliva -- saliva neutralizes refluxed acids and protects against damage to the esophagus.
7. Lose Weight http://goo.gl/BKdfe
Excess body weight increases the abdominal pressure, which can then push the contents of the stomach up into the esophagus. By losing abdominal weight, the pressure on the LES and stomach decreases, this in turn can reduce the occurrence of acid back wash.
8. De-Stress Your Life
Stress is a contributing factor with heart burn and acid reflux. Observe your breathing when you are stressed. Most likely it is shallow, coming from the upper chest. This is because deep breathing is almost impossible when you are stressed. By taking deep, abdominal breaths, you will alkalize your body and release stressful emotions.
Meditation and yoga are both great ways to turn off the mind and simply "be."
In Closing
Following these natural and healthy guidelines can greatly improve or eliminate symptoms of heart burn and acid reflux. For more information on digestive health, I recommend reading the book "Restoring Your Digestive Health" by Jordan S. Rubin, N.M.D. and Joseph Brasco, M.D. It is a comprehensive health guide that combines the wisdom of both traditional and alternative treatment methods for a variety of gastrointestinal health issues. Controlling your blood sugar!

What's the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do to live a long, disease-free life?
A good diet? Regular exercise? Watching your weight? Controlling stress. Sound sleep?
All these practices are certainly beneficial. But they're NOT nearly as important as... http://goo.gl/BKdfe
Controlling your blood sugar!
Research from across the entire medical community reveals this is the #1 factor for good health and long life. Here's why...
Out-of-control blood sugar is linked to every serious degenerative disease on today's Top 10 Killers list.
It's a fact: Excess blood sugar harms every important organ in your body.
It's becoming a huge problem these days...
And eating less sugar won't protect you!
That's because so many hidden sugars and sweeteners are being added to our foods today-- even the ones that aren't "sweet."
But there's an even bigger problem which most people aren't even aware of...
Many carb foods spike your blood sugar
--
even when they contain no sweeteners!
These carbs become blood glucose just as rapidly as if you ate pure table sugar!
And sometimes diet-and-exercise just isn't enough to neutralize the threat -- especially as you get older.
So take my advice, if you want to really protect your health, you've got to...
Get control of your blood sugar now!
But it's not all that easy because...
You can't always be sure if every food product you buy is blood sugar "safe." http://goo.gl/BKdfe
And, hey ... sometimes you just want a treat -- or a break from the straight and narrow.
Your blood sugar can always use a little extra help.
That's why I'm so happy to tell you about Gluco-Secure -- the new "blood sugar stabilizer" from my good friend Dr. Alan Pressman.
This is the most impressive non-prescription blood sugar supplement on the market today -- bar none!
The reason I like it so much is because Gluco-Securecontains 7 of the most powerful natural blood sugar-lowering ingredients ever researched.
These act just like your body's insulin!
Gluco-Secure pulls excess glucose OUT of your bloodstream before it can do damage. And you'll feel the positive effects immediately, including...
-Higher energy levels (no more mid-morning or midday "crash")
-Brighter moods and less irritability (caused by fluctuating blood sugar levels)
-Ends carbohydrate cravings and the incessant urge for "something sweet"
-It can even help you control your weight (and lose excess pounds!)
No more lectures from your doctor about your blood sugar!
This is a truly wonderful product -- and the only one that has my full 100% endorsement.
Dr. Pressman is a "supplement genius" and Gluco-Securemay be his very best formulation yet. Check out the impressive list of ingredients here
Now, controlling your blood sugar can be...
As easy as swallowing a single capsule!
So you won't have to worry or feel guilty about every meal or snack you eat.
You've got enough on your mind, don't you?
If you want to really get your blood sugar under control, I urge you to
Give Gluco-Secure a risk-free try
Dr. Pressman will send you a trial supply of Gluco-Secure for you to use for 30 days, completely Risk-Free
See his Special Offer get your trial supply of Gluco-Secure
Dr. Pressman GUARANTEES you'll feel an immediate improvement -- and that your doctor will notice a wonderful improvement in your blood sugar levels -- or you won't pay a penny more than the original shipping and handling.  http://goo.gl/BKdfe
You can'tlose with this offer!
I hope you won't let this opportunity get away.

Some of my posts lately have been talking a bit about all the recent changes in search engines and the new ways Google and Bing are trying to do things. In my post SEO the way Google and Bing want it, I talked about how the importance of using onsite SEO, and how Google is shifting away from ranking everything on back links and instead focusing more about whats actually on your pages. Then I followed up that post with Google vs Facebook the untold truths.
In the Google vs Facebook post I talked about how Google is shifting the search engine into a social search engine and how the importance of being social with Google is going to

There are very few marketing ebooks that I will ever recommend. The truth is most marketing ebooks have some serious pitfalls that make them not really worth the time or investment required to read them. The biggest of problems about marketing ebooks, is the information is most often out dated.
The field of internet marketing is one of the most rapidly changing fields. Methods of SEO that worked yesterday no longer work to day. Social networking sites change at such a rapid rate that what worked last year, is totally different this year. Social bookmarking sites come and go. Overall, the methods of marketing online just keep changing and there is no way to really ensure that a marketing ebook will hold value for more than a couple of months.
Another major problem for marketing ebooks is a marketing technique known as PLR. PLR stands for private Label rights.

I read an article this morning about Google+ and how despite the best efforts of Google, Google+ will never be able to compete with Facebook. The article was posted on network world and titled Why Google+ can never compete with Facebook. Its articles that I see all over the internet these days.
These people have no idea what they are talking about. They are not wrong, however they are not right either. The problem is they have the wrong belief and therefore they are drawing the wrong conclusion. The truth is, Google+ is not competing with Facebook. Its a VAST misconception to think it is. People keep criticizing the Google+ social network because they don’t understand

Onsite SEO
Onsite SEO
When it comes to onsite SEO it seems that almost everyone on the web does things backwards. What most people seem to do, and what is sadly taught on most SEO related websites is to do a lot of research and careful keyword selecting, and then generate web pages and blog posts around those keywords. The belief is if you know what keywords perform well and you create SEO friendly pages then logically you should achieve search engine results for those keywords.
The truth however is that this is a completely backwards way of doing SEO and exactly what

I have used countless submission tools over the years and each one seems to work a little different. I am not sure there can ever truly be a best tool, however some tools seem to have options that leave me believing they are a cut above the rest and Submit Eaze Directory Submission Software is one such tool.
Submit Eaze Directory Submission Software is actually a duel purpose submission software that will allow you to submit articles to article directories, and links with descriptions to link directories. The link directory submission process is set up in a very easy to use manner. It categorizes link directories into very useful categories. Some of those categories are free link directories, paid link directories, adult link directories, reciprocal link directories, as well as niche specific directories.

I have been a pro member of safelist genie since the day it was released. Safelist genie is a safelist marketing management tool that is unsurpassed by any other tool. As with all marketing tools I recommend this tool is completely white hat.

What is a safelist?

A safelist is a type of email membership website that is used by marketers to swap marketing emails with each other. It works on a point based system. Every email you read, you earn points for reading and every email you send costs you a given number of points. The more points you have the more people receive your email. Most of these memberships have both free and paid member levels, making them great traffic sources for new marketers.

Benefits of a high-fiber diet

The amount of each type of fiber varies in different plant foods. To receive the greatest health benefit, eat a wide variety of high-fiber foods.

Benefits of a high-fiber diet

A high-fiber diet has many benefits, which include:
  • Normalizes bowel movements. Dietary fiber increases the weight and size of your stool and softens it. A bulky stool is easier to pass, decreasing your chance of constipation. If you have loose, watery stools, fiber may also help to solidify the stool because it absorbs water and adds bulk to stool. For some, fiber may provide relief from irritable bowel syndrome.
  • Helps maintain bowel integrity and health. A high-fiber diet may lower your risk of developing hemorrhoids, and small pouches in your colon (diverticular disease). Some fiber is fermented in the colon. Researchers are looking at how this may play a role in preventing diseases of the colon.
  • Lowers blood cholesterol levels. Soluble fiber found in beans, oats, flaxseed and oat bran may help lower total blood cholesterol levels by lowering low-density lipoprotein, or "bad," cholesterol levels. Epidemiologic studies have shown that increased fiber in the diet can reduce blood pressure and inflammation, which is also protective to heart health.
  • Helps control blood sugar levels. Fiber, particularly soluble fiber, can slow the absorption of sugar, which for people with diabetes can help improve blood sugar levels. A diet that includes insoluble fiber has been associated with a reduced risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
  • Aids in weight loss. High-fiber foods generally require more chewing time, which gives your body time to register when you're no longer hungry, so you're less likely to overeat. Also, a high-fiber diet tends to make a meal feel larger and linger longer, so you stay full for a greater amount of time. And high-fiber diets also tend to be less "energy dense," which means they have fewer calories for the same volume of food.
  • Uncertain effect on colorectal cancer. Evidence that dietary fiber reduces colorectal cancer is mixed — some studies show benefit, some show nothing and some suggest increased risk. If you're concerned about preventing colorectal cancer, adopt or stick with a colon cancer screening regimen. Regular testing for and removal of colon polyps can prevent colon cancer. http://goo.gl/BKdfe

What Are The Health Benefits Of Fiber?

What Are The Health Benefits Of Fiber?

Edited by Guy Slowik MD FRCS. Last updated on:
01/03/2011 - 17:09
Fiber is helpful to the body in many ways:

Avoiding And Relieving Constipation

Fiber can absorb large amounts of water in the bowels, and this makes stools softer and easier to pass. Anyone starting a higher-fiber diet will notice the difference in stool bulk.
  • In almost all cases, increasing fiber in the diet will relieve constipation withinhttp://duch56.sbcpower.com/or days.
  • Because stools are easier to pass, less straining is necessary, and this can help relieve hemorrhoids.
Need To Know:
Constipation can have other causes, however, so you should consult your doctor if it is not relieved by increased fiber.
Nice To Know:
On average, it takes 39 hours in women and 31 hours in men for food to pass through the colon and out of the body. This time varies a lot from person to person, depending on personality, state of mind, and fiber intake. Usually, the effect of fiber is to speed up this process.

Preventing Certain Diseases  http://duch56.eatlessfeelfull.com/

Getting enough fiber in the diet can lower the risk of developing certain conditions:
  • Heart disease. Evidence is now growing to support the notion that foods containing soluble fiber (such as oats, rye barley, and beans) can have a positive influence on cholesterol, triglycerides, and other particles in the blood that affect the development of heart disease. Some fruits and vegetables (such as citrus fruits and carrots) have been shown to have the same effect.
  • Cancer. The passage of food through the body is speeded up when fiber is eaten. Some experts believe this may prevent harmful substances found in some foods from affecting the colon and may protect against colon cancer. (However, a recent study conducted by Harvard University concluded that eating high-fiber food did not appear to protect people from colon cancer.) Other types of cancer that are linked with overnutrition and may be prevented by a fiber-rich diet include breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and uterine cancer.
  • Diabetes. Adding fiber to the diet helps regulate blood sugar levels, which is important in avoiding diabetes. In addition, some people with diabetes can achieve a significant reduction in their blood sugar levels and may find they can reduce their medication.
  • Diverticular disease. Diverticular disease is a condition in which small pouches, called diverticula, develop in the wall of the colon. In a small percentage of people, these diverticula become inflamed or infected, a condition known as diverticulitis. Diverticular disease can cause pain, diarrhea, constipation, and other problems.
  • Gallstones and kidney stones. Rapid digestion leads to a rapid release of glucose (sugar) into the bloodstream. To cope with this, the body has to release large amounts of insulin into the bloodstream, and this can make a person more likely to develop gallstones and kidney stones (in addition to diabetes and high cholesterol).
For further information about diverticular disease, go to Diverticular Disease.
For further information about gallstones, go to Gallstones.
For further information about kidney stones, go to Kidney Stones.

Keeping Weight Under Control

Foods containing plenty of fiber have more bulk than low-fiber foods. If taken in the right form at the right time and at sufficient quantities, fiber can sometimes slow the onset of hunger.
Nice To Know:
To help control your weight with fiber: http://duch56.eatlessfeelfull.com/
  • Always try to take fiber in the natural form. For example, instead of sprinkling bran over your food, choose foods naturally high in fiber.
  • Avoid foods that have been made easier to eat and digest by removal of fiber, especially sugars (including fruit juices).
  • Choose foods that satisfy hunger without providing many calories, mainly vegetables and most fruits, which are rich in fiber.
Need To Know:
Some individuals claim that fiber alone can cause weight loss without the need to diet. But in fact, the only effective and safe way to lose weight is to:
  • Reduce calorie intake to a safe level
  • Get enough exercise to burn off excess calories
However, fiber can be a useful aid in reducing calorie intake. http://duch56.onegreatmovie.com/

Raw Food Diet Benefits

Raw Food Diet Benefits

A raw food diet is used by some to detox and by others to improve their health. A raw food diet is based on uncooked and unprocessed foods. Raw food diets have been proven to create major improvements in the health of some people. Raw food diet benefits include improved energy, reduced risk of heart disease, improved skin appearance and weight normalization. Raw food diets also benefit the digestive system. When eating a raw food diet, don't mix it with cooked foods. Adding cooked foods to a raw food diet is not a good idea because cooked foods create acid in the stomach which does not react well to raw foods. Some popular raw foods include fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, grains, beans, nuts, dried fruit and seaweed. When you purchase raw foods it is best to choose ones that are organic. Conventional raw foods have been found to be very high in pesticides and other toxins. When planning your raw food diet eat fruits in the morning and vegetables in the evening. Don't forget to add in some sprouts. While sprouts do take a little more work than just grabbing something and eating it, they are an essential part of a raw food diet. In addition to sprouting, raw foods can be processed by juicing, soaking to soften items like nuts or beans, blending and dehydrating. If you are used to a meat diet you may experience mild headaches, nausea and food cravings for the first few days of your raw food diet.  http://goo.gl/BKdfe
Organic Baby Care
Once you know that you are expecting a baby, creating a place for your new baby is one of the first things you will want to do. A natural baby nursery filled with eco friendly baby furniture, organic baby bedding and organic skin care products is a great way to begin. Before bringing your baby home be sure to load up on organic cloth diapers. Cloth diapers help keep disposable ones out of the landfill and can be better for baby's skin because they do not contain the chemicals disposable diapers do. Using organic cloth diapers helps save money as well because you are reusing them instead of tossing them in the trash. Organic baby care is something you will want to discuss with your ob-gyn during your pregnancy and with the baby's pediatrician. Ask if the hospital you will be delivering in offers an option between conventional products and organic products. If not, ask if you can bring your own organic baby skin care products for use on your baby. Also inquire about organic baby formula. If you want to start your baby on organic baby formula this may be something you will have to provide. As your baby begins to grow choosing organic baby food is going to be your next choice. Organic baby food is healthier and does not contain all the chemical toxins conventional baby food does. Parents who choose to use only organic baby products have the peace of mind that their baby is getting the very best products and none of the toxic chemicals found in traditional products that could harm their baby.
Natural Cold Remedies
Instead of rushing to the doctor or medicine cabinet as soon as you feel a cold coming on this year try some of these natural cold remedies. A good way to start is to get plenty of rest so your body can use its energy to fight off the cold. If you are having trouble getting sleep when you feel a cold coming on, try some natural sleep remedies such as making sure you are comfortable, use a relaxation technique and drink a warm herbal tea to help promote relaxation. If none of that works try an herbal remedy such as lavender or chamomile. You can take a warm bath filled with these herbs or essential oils. Another option is to have a sleep pillow filled with them. If you don't like baths, try a steamy shower. Making sure to blow your nose and not sniffle too often is another natural cold remedy. Sniffling simply causes the mucus to go back into your head. Try placing a finger on one side of your nose while blowing out the other side. This is the best way. And be sure to wash your hands after you blow your nose. Gargling with a teaspoon of salt in warm water four times a day can moisten a sore throat and bring temporary relief. Drink plenty of hot liquids, especially herbal teas made for colds. Choose a natural salve made with menthol, eucalyptus or camphor. Use this salve under your nose to help open your breathing passages and ease the pain of a raw nose. Finally use natural herbal warm or cold packs around congested areas.

Natural Health Tip of the Week

*** Natural Health Tip of the Week ***-------------------------------------------------------------
For curing GERD or heartburn, honey can stimulate tissue on the LES or sphincter to regrow. All you need to do is eat about 3 teaspoons daily and you are one your way to curing the cause of this disease. It is important that you take 1 teaspoon after breakfast, 1 in the middle of the day and 1 right before bed.
Make sure to get pure raw honey that is usually sold in those cute little 'honey bear' plastic bottles.
-------------------------------------------------------------
*** Article of the Week: Breaking Free Of The Binge Eating Cycle - By Rebecca
Cooper ***
-------------------------------------------------------------
We develop patterns of behavior early in life. We start associating certain events with certain behaviors. One such pattern is our behavior with food. Being fed by our parents when we were young may come to represent being cared for or being loved. On the other hand, not being fed when we were hungry may have produced a deep insecurity about whether there would be enough food in the future.
Food can also serve as a distraction. For instance, we may have been told at the doctor's office that if we didn't cry when we got a shot, we would be rewarded with a lollypop. Therefore, we focused on getting the lollypop instead of feeling the fear or pain of the needle. We effectively blocked the pain and focused on the reward, the sugar. Is it any wonder that later in life when we experience pain, emotional or physical, that we think a candy bar will make us feel better?
We may associate happy occasions, holidays, and celebrations with food. We then look to food to recapture the feelings of togetherness, love, and joy that we felt on those special occasions. We may have been told we can have dessert if we are good or if we eat everything on our plate. Thus, dessert became a reward, an acknowledgement of success. We trudge through a hard day at work knowing a reward awaits us at the end of the day.
We can also use food to procrastinate; to avoid some action or responsibility that needs to be taken care of or just to get through the mundane, boring tasks of daily life. We may even recognize that food has become our best friend and our source of comfort. But inside, we feel like we have an empty hole inside us, and no amount of food seems to make us feel whole and complete.
We pick up so many associations between food and behavior early in life. Some are life enhancing, and some have become subconscious, core beliefs that interfere with our life today. We may be using food to cope with the stress in our lives. But, in time, our destructive eating behavior actually makes the stress worse. We find that we have less time and less energy.
Because we automatically use food, we cannot discover what is truly disturbing us. If we are not conscious of these associations, the first step in changing them is awareness. We can't change something if we are not even aware of it.
What Is Disordered Eating?
People with disordered eating have developed the habit of relying on food to cope with life situations. They use food as a means to displace or "stuff down" uncomfortable feelings or thoughts. They may use food to avoid some part of life by grazing or eating all day. This is called compulsive overeating. Some may binge, eating large amounts of food in a short time. Binge eating usually starts in response to a diet. Others may restrict their food intake with a rigid diet until they become so malnourished that they cannot think clearly or function physically, and until their long-term health, or even their life itself, is endangered. This is anorexia. Still others may overeat, and then get rid of the food. This is bulimia.
Disordered eating is not just about food. The primary thing that keeps a person trapped in the illness is FEAR: fear of getting fat, fear of rejection, fear of being found out, fear of abandonment, fear of being controlled, or fear of feeling. By concentrating on the illness, weight, diet, or body image, one can avoid the fear and numb the feelings.
A mental obsession with food, weight, diet, or body image has profound effects on our self-esteem, relationships, finances, daily activities, and quality of life. People often become depressed or anxious because of their eating patterns.
The Cycle
At the beginning of our eating disorder, we successfully managed to block out troubling feelings by occupying our mind with thoughts of food or thinness. The problem with this is that as our feelings get stuffed down over and over again, the internal pressure builds. We don't exercise other methods of coping, and soon food becomes our only coping mechanism. We become hard-wired to turn to our disorder whenever a feeling comes up.
After a while we have no room for any more feelings. We may find ourselves reacting to everything around us by turning to food. We don't acknowledge our pain, so we don't do anything to alleviate our growing desperation. We think food is the problem, when in fact, we have substituted food for a deeper problem--and it's just not working anymore. We find ourselves trapped in a cycle with no way to break free.

Breaking the Cycle    http://goo.gl/BKdfe
In recovery it is important to realize that we have done the best we could up to this point. Negative self-criticism about previous actions only perpetuates the cycle. The solution is to recognize that there is a relationship between our emotions and our eating behaviors. Destructive eating behaviors are just a symptom of the problem, not its root cause.
To get down to the root cause, we need to identify why we are turning to food or to an obsessive restriction of food. Then we can take action to deal with this underlying cause. You can break the cycle at any point--and the cycle does break. All you need to start recovering is the willingness to change, to open your mind to a different approach.
Our thoughts are the first link to our actions. If we want to reach out our hand, our mind has to tell our arm to move. So we must identify the thoughts that trigger the unwanted act of eating when we are not physically hungry or denying ourselves food when we are hungry. Armed with this knowledge, we can find suitable substitutes. Starting with small steps, through the use of repetition, we can form new habits.
So GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK! You have spent too much energy negatively criticizing yourself in the past. Why do you fail to acknowledge the many good things you accomplish in a day? It is time to start congratulating yourself for things well done!
At first, you may want to start out simple. Tell yourself, "Hey, nice job of brushing those teeth!" or "Wow, good driving!" on the way to work. Take moments throughout the day to congratulate yourself for things you do well.
In time, these repetitive affirmations will begin a new cycle of behavior. This practice of nurturing or "reparenting" yourself will help you become more attuned to your internal dialog and avoid those negative influences. You can work with yourself instead of against yourself. The body was designed to work in conjunction with your appetite by eating when you are hungry and stopping when you are full. You can get back in touch with this innate ability.
Focus on the intention to live your life with confidence and self-acceptance. Find things to appreciate and enjoy. Positive self-talk can break the cycle and free you from the need to use food as a substitute for living a full life.   http://goo.gl/BRXqL

TAAK A LOOK IT IS REALTY

Hi friends,

I wanted to send you out this quick email to let you know why you NEED to start your own business with Skinny Body Care and the Skinny Fiber Product.

If you work for someone else, it is not what you do from 8 to 5 that count. It is what you do with your paycheck after you receive it that counts.

In other words, what you do from 8 to 5 is your profession or your job. What you do with your paycheck is your business....

Too many people rely on their employer or their government to take care of them.

I wanted to breakdown something that made me decide to start my own business 7 years ago Abe.

Let's say you have a salary of $48,000 per year (if you're lucky). In other words you are paid $4000 per month to mind your employer's business. Then you get your paycheck and it's for $2,500. The $1,500 of withholding taxes is you minding Uncle Sam's business. Then you have to make your mortgage/rent payment to the bank or landlord of $1,500, which represents you minding the bank's/landlord's business.

Oh, and let's not forget that credit card balance that you let get away from you. That $400 payment is you working for the credit card company. Another $440 goes for living expenses.

What are you left with friends?

At the end of the month you are lucky to have $160 for investment, that's $1 per hour that you are earning for yourself.

Let's Review:

Salary $4,000 you working for your boss

Less (MINUS):

Taxes $1,500 you working for the Government
Mortgage/Rent $1,500 you working for the bank
Credit Card $400 you working for the credit card company
living $440 You working for your creditors

Net $160 You working for you!

It is very difficult to get rich on an extra $160 per month. So what choices do you have?

1. Work Overtime?
2. Get a 2nd job?
3. Downsize your house?
4. Start your own business on the side, part-time?

All of these options will give you more money, but which one might help you on your way to wealth the quickest? The first two, working overtime and getting a 2nd job just make your situation worse and result in you spending more time working for others. The 3rd will help you reduce your rent/mortgage payment each month and may be a viable option for you, but it is still a one-time reduction in expenses.

Let's examine the 4th option, starting your own business on the side, even if you keep your job.   'FREE' tour. http://goo.gl/BRXqL

The difference between the employee and the business owner is that the employee pays taxes FIRST and then pays expenses. The business owner pays expenses FIRST and then pays taxes. The business owner will always pay less tax than the employee simply because they can reduce the income amount they have to pay tax on!

As a business owner you can also take advantage of tax deductions that are not available to employees.

Here are just some of the business deductions that you might be able to take advantage of:

1. Home Office Expenses
2. Business equipment (computers, cell phones)
3. Office Supplies (paper, printer ink)
4. Internet and Telephone Service
5. Software and subscriptions
6. Mileage and other auto expenses
7. Travel, meals and entertainment

... And the list goes on and on.

As a business owner you have additional advantage of having the use of the money from your business to reinvest into building your business before you pay taxes, instead of the government taking its share even before you receive your income.

So what's the bottom line????   'FREE' tour. http://goo.gl/BRXqL

If you want to be rich, you need to be a business owner and not an employee. Unless you're hoping to win the lottery.

I've been getting allot of emails lately from people who say that they don't have the money to start their own business. But if their car broke down or the furnace goes they find the money to pay for it. I think the only people who are successful
in Network Marketing find the money to start up their own business.

Wouldn't you like to start minding your own bottom line, instead of everyone else’s?
